Double-seam blankets are hand-knit in soft stripes with dark borders at each end and hand-stitched together.

Knitted in 100% natural, undyed Indian Wool – Single Origin, fully traceable.

Every one of our products is unique, our knitters add an identifying knotted thread to every piece they create.

Double Seam blankets are approximately 120cm wide x 200cm long, weight 1.3kg.

Dry cleaning is recommended due to the size and weight of the blanket.

Made in India in the villages of Urgos and Tchaling, by women knitting around their stove over the long hard winters. In the Spring, as the snow melts, the knits are transported into the Kullu Valley, where they undergo rigorous quality checks and are gently hand-washed in the fast running Himalayan streams, ensuring each pieces meets our high standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Warmth:
Because the Miyar Sheep live at high altitudes their wool is rich in lanoline, which gives our products exceptional warmth. Knitted in a textural moss stitch, the finished fabrics are particularly flexible and comfortable.
